Privacy Policy

This policy details the information we collect from you and what we do with it. This is information collected when you have  requested a Prospectus pack or other course information; requested to be added to our mailing list for on-going information about a specific course or courses, or if you have booked or applied for a place on one of our programmes.

What Data we Collect

When you contact us, either by phone, email, via our Contact Us form or in person, we keep a note of your name, postal address, and email address if supplied, and make a note of the subject areas about which you have requested information.

If you subsequently book on a short course or make an application for a longer programme, we additionally keep a record of all the information provided by you on the application form and during the interview process.

For the duration of the programme and for at least 7 years afterwards we keep all academic records relating to you so that we can, for example, supply references, confirm your qualifications and so on.

We do not store any information on what use you have made of our website.  We do not record or store any financial information such as bank account or credit card details.

What we do with the data we collect

We will from time to time send you email notifications, print or email newsletters and, if requested, updated prospectus packs.

You can, at any time, request us to notsend you further information and we will comply with your request.

If you become a student with us, we share your information only within the college. A contact list which contains an abbreviated physical address and your email address is circulated to staff and students. We ask you at the start of the programme if we can do this or if you prefer not to have your email address included.

What we do not do with your data

We do not send or sell your data to any outside bodies or organisations for marketing or other purposes.

How long do we keep your data

Your details are kept by us for as long as we need it based on the original reason for contacting us.  We conduct periodic reviews of your data and remove any that we feel is no longer needed.  If you become a student with us your data is kept for a minimum of seven years as is legally required by Revenue and Customs.

You have the right to ask us to confirm if we have any information on you, and to request a copy of that information.

You have the right at any time to request that we remove all data we hold on you, except where we have a legal requirement for purposes such as Revenue and Customs.

If at any time you feel that data you have sent to us has been leaked, you should contact us immediately with all the details.
