Health-promoting Qigong (pronounced Cheegung), also known as Qigong for Health and Wellbeing, is part of the ancient system of Chinese therapeutic exercises.
We are happy to announce that we are running another Introductory Qigong Weekend this Spring, on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March at our College in Dublin 3.
The weekend introduces you to a number of different simple but effective Qigong “Exercises” that you can practice at home, on your own, on a daily basis to enhance your own health. They include simple static postures or simple movements, breathing exercises and relaxation/meditation techniques. Some theoretical introduction to Qigong and Medical Qigong is also provided.
The workshop is open to all adult members of the public. No previous experience of Qigong, TCM, meditation, Chinese exercises or Martial Arts is required.
Adults of all ages, and levels of health and fitness, can benefit from and enjoy this weekend of gentle exercise and relaxation.
It is essential to Book in advance.

This weekend is an essential introductory pre-requisite for anyone wishing to take part in one of our Health-promoting or Medical Qigong Certificate courses.
The hidden treasures of Qigong are said to include not only improvement in health, vitality and recuperative power but also in happiness, longevity, beauty, refinement and spiritual development.
As Qigong Master Professor Xia noted, “Your experience will tell you if this is true”.
